CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Caution: If you choose to purchase your coasters sealed with a vegan wood oil to protect and nourish the natural hardwood. Please note that this is done upon request and therefore these will arrive to you very soon after the application process. 
• For this reason, wooden coasters will arrive wrapped in paper to help absorb some of that oil. Based on the other items purchased, we may also decide to place these in a plastic bag. If so, please remove them from the bag, and let them dry on a paper towel somewhere the oil residue will not damage anything. 
• As part of the curing process, residual oil may remain on the surface for a short time after purchase.
• During this time, please avoid placing the coasters directly on fabrics, untreated wood, or delicate surfaces that could absorb oil or become stained.
• Allow coasters to rest on a paper towel or non-porous surface for a few days before use, or gently wipe with a clean cloth to remove any excess oil.
• Recondition occasionally with an oil or beeswax-based wood balm of your choice. 
• Store in a dry area, out of direct sunlight to preserve color and finish.
